The Theater of the Mind
Summary
Gravity Simulation in the Mind
The creation of an atificial gravity field in the mind, in which the apparent floor is situated at the top of the skull can be explained using the resonance/dissonance model of SCIET Theory. The center value is the source of resonance and all the mental creations are in various levels of disonance with the center. This enables the use of a controlled push from the center to simulate gravity. which is built on the accelleration of mass model suggested by Einstein's Elevator Thought Experiment.
Hemispheric reversal in the brain is understood as a consequence of the internalizing field of consciousness using the SCIET dynamic. There are several concepts on this page which directly relate to explaining hemispheric reversal in the brain. The first is the internal vanishing point.
The Infinite Horizon
The internal infinity refers to the notion that information can be expressed accurately at any size if the interrelationships remain constant. So nature's compression algorhythm does that, it continually compresses the sensory information, which in turn allows us the perception of great distance within our minds. Our perceptual powers exist, not at the center, but as a horizon ring or sphere of perception between an inner and an outer reality. The general concept can by more easily understood using this illustration:
We look toward the horizon to see where we are going, and are aware of ourselves as being at the center of a sphere of perception where the universe stretches away endlessly in all directions. The horizon circles us in three hundred and sixty degrees, we can see it, but when we close our eyes and see the same view of the distant horizon in our minds, where is that horizon, and how does the mind create infinity? See Like a Road
Long Term Memory
The process of long term visual memory can be compared to a tunnel of time and light. It has become a well proven phenomenon that while under hypnosis people can recall in vivid detail almost any waking moment. These memories are not accessible to willful recall and the idea that each person has a continuous record of every moment suggests that the mechanism is not using an electrochemical messaging system. There is too much information to be handled with molecular coding. The SCIET explains the process of continuous reduction as a mathematical concept common to all change in space, and consciousness is the highest degree of expression of this concept in creation.
How the mind is able to synthesize a world, even a universe, in your head involves principles of physics that are elemental to every object and every point in space. The exchange of energy that accompanies every change in position by everything that exists is both an outward projection and an inward attraction. Each and every change is commnicated outwardly and inwardly. That the mind is able to absorb the information of the universe's duration is a concept that makes perfect sense, it is the obvious result of the nature of space.
The Theater of the Mind
A second concept that is important is how we use the infinite horizon in our visualizations. It is in this concept that we grasp the real function and importance of the brain's hemispheric reversal.
We have to be upside down and backwards in the theater of the mind to reflect the world around us.
Upside Down and Backwards
We model the world inside our heads up-side down and backwards. The infinite distance of the sky's zenith is down in our minds, at the junction of the of the visual cortex where it closest to the center of the brain. The simulation of the three dimensional world is inverted, up is toward the spinal cord, down is at the top of the head and forward is at the back of the skull where the visual cortex is located.
The perception and control of the extremities follow this pattern, with the legs and feet at the top of both the somatosensory cortex and the motor cortex, located in a band across the outer portions of the cerebellum, directly above the spine.
This upside down and backwards positioning idea easily explains hemispheric reversal, why the left side of the body is wired to the right half of the brain and vice-versa.
The Observing Self
The observing self exists in a resonance region that represents the midpoint between the external and internal worlds. In the brain this area is the lateral genticulate nucleus, where the perceiver of the visual field is generated. The screen of the "Theater of the Mind" is located in the ocipetal lobes. The viewer and the viewed are on opposite sides of a perceptual midpoint, as we can always say that the zenith of the sky is above and between ourselves and whatever we are seeing.
Seeing in Dreams
Whether we are seeing as we walk along as we imagine we are walking along or even dreaming we are walking along we are there. In all three cases the perception connects to the same sense of awareness of being there.
A personal memory that has always illustrated this for me occured one morning as I awoke from my nights sleep.
I was in the middle of a dream in which I was a little boy playing with tools in the dining room of my childhood home. I was hitting the buffet repeatedly with a hammer and was enjoying the weight of it as it banged the cabinet door. Then suddenly I could not feel it anymore and the room went dark. My senses had returned to my body and I became aware that my face was on a pillow and my arm was underneath.
For a moment in my dream I was quite perplexed that I could not move my arm. But my waking self was also alarmed that I was beating the Buffet with a hammer. I was completely present in the dream and everything about it was as real as perception can detect. My awareness in the dream was just like in my body.
I was using my body and could feel everything, almost as if I have two bodies with a virtual switch, which inferres matching connections to the sensory/visual awareness. This is most likely accomplished with frequency shift based on a common center point.
Hemispheric Reversal
The theater of the mind is the key to understanding the brain's hemispheric reversal.
The visual system is consolidated into seperate left and right side inputs in the lateral genticulate nucleus before it generates the visual field, which is processed in the visual cortex ocipetal lobes.at the back of the brain.
The location of the visual cortex at the back of the brain is almost as striking as hemispheric reversal. The placement of the components of the visual system and the somatosensory nerve centers for the extremeties correlate to the upside down and backwards hypothesis of the theater of the mind.
A third concept is how the brain is able to synthesize gravity as well as infinity for the theater of the mind.
How the Brain Synthesizes Gravity
The brain is a transciever, transmitting and recieving field-based information. How the field is centered and how it varies away from that center is important in order to conceptualize how the brain/mind is able to synthesize the force of gravity. The inverse square law works for this situation, the effect diminishes in direct proportion the distance from the center. Keep in mind that we are talking about quanta aether layers, which are at least three orders of magnitude faster and smaller than gravitational (molecular) quanta layers.
Gravity is the same as constant acceleration
Einstien showed that gravity is the same as constant acceleration. His famous thought experiment to illustrate this idea involved an elevator being moved through space under constant accelleration equal to the force of gravity on the surface of the earth. He demonstrated that there would be no difference in the passengers experience of constant accelleration and the force of gravity.
Our minds use the principle of constant acceleration to synthesize gravity. The effects emanating from the mind's center are responsible for our ability to model gravity.
The elevator example is instructive, constant accelleration toward the center is good visual of what the compression algorythm does. So we are able to experience gravity in the theater of the mind because our mind's center is emanating a constant assimalative force relative to our visualization energy. In effect, our mind's center is pulling our "theater" just like Einstein's hypothetical "elevator".
